Six grads from Summer School
Six journalists from across Canada recently completed a week of intensive study in CAR methods as the second annual King’s Summer School in Computer-Assisted Reporting wrapped up.
This year’s school featured training on both Macs and PCs, a first for training in computer-assisted reporting in Canada.
King’s summer schools have now trained almost two dozen journalists in CAR techniques. The week-long course is the only one of its kind in Canada. King’s would like to thank the Canadian Newspaper Association for its ongoing sponsorship of this unique training event.
Plans are underway for the 2010 summer school.
